DRU ROSS
​SENIOR TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR - KNIT

Dru Ross graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Knitted Textiles in 1994. Her professional experience includes freelance textile and knitwear design in London, couture production for a variety of high end fashion houses in Paris and Italy including Versace, Gucci, Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent. Since relocating to Bristol, Dru has worked as a technical instructor within UWE's Fashion and Textile department as well as continuing her own creative practice.

EMILY SHARMAN-HAYLES

TECHNICIAL INSTRUCTOR - KNIT

Emily Sharman-Hayles graduated from Bristol UWE in 2020, with a BA in Fashion Textiles and specialised in Knit. Whilst studying, she was 1 of 12 across the country to receive the Bursary award by the Worshipful Framework of Knitters, for her knowledge and innovation in knitwear. She has done freelance work for Craig Green (London based luxury brand) and other knit production work for small sustainable brands. Whilst working as a technical instructor at UWE, she also runs her own knit label, EJ SHARMAN.
